Paterson-based Blooming Together Women’s Empowerment Workshop recently brought joy, healing, and renewed confidence to more than 35 women of diverse faiths and beliefs. The event featured uplifting messages from Paterson Community Health Center CFO Ms. Debora Walcott, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Rutgers University and a CPA, with a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University delivered an inspiring message centered on resilience, encouraging women to recognize their inner strength and overcome adversity.
Pastor Bianca Martinez, Pastor at Centro Evangelistico Vida Nueva Church, followed with practical, hope-filled strategies for managing anxiety and stress. Many participants took meaningful steps toward their health by registering for gynecology, primary care, dental, and behavioral health services at Paterson Community Health Center. Other attendees were connected with resources for personal and professional growth. The workshop will continue to be offered annually, providing a celebration of empowerment, sisterhood, and the transformative power of community support.
